Raises are returning to some companies, in a sign that the economy may be improving.
According to the Wall Street Journal, a number of CEO's are unfreezing raises or granting them sooner than expected.
One reason is concern over employees jumping ship for a better offer.
Some of the companies bringing back raises include Price Water House Coopers and AT&T.
