A request from Cast Away Pointe goes before the Plattsmouth City Council Monday night (5/3).
Developers are requesting a new plan for a section of the development on East Main Street on the bank of the Missouri River.
The Cassgram reports the Plattsmouth Planning Commission has recommended approval—with some contingencies—on what is to be called “Castaway Cottages.” The developers are requesting a subdivision replat and amendment to the PUD (planned unit development) to change what had been 12 larger lots for detached housing units into 22 lots for two-story, townhouse-type structures.
The cottages on the north side of the marina, like the original plan, would be served by city water and sewer hook-ups.
