Counterfeit $100 and $20 bills are showing up in Grand Island.
Police say they aren't yet sure whether both denominations are being produced by the same counterfeiters.
The $20s have been tied to the counterfeit $20s that popped up in town at the end of last year. They seem to have been made with a copier and don't have a security thread or holographic portrait.
The $100s have a security thread that says USA Five and holographic portraits of Abraham Lincoln instead of Benjamin Franklin.
