Scratch off winner cashes in. Shelly Dieter of Weeping Water was the recent winner of $50,000 in the Nebraska Lottery’s Fabulous Fortune $5 scratch ticket game. The winning ticket was purchased at The Express Lane.
Dieter told Cassgram she plays the scratch tickets often and has already used some of the money to help her kids out and for a new lawnmower purchase. The win came at a good time, she mentioned she needed to charge $15 of gas to get to Lincoln to pick up the check.
The odds of winning $50,000 playing Fabulous Fortune are 1 in 100,000, according to the Nebraska Lottery.
