Car hits power pole near Plattsmouth Boat Dock.
The Cassgram reports Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advised deputies, Plattsmouth Police and Plattsmouth Fire and Rescue responded to the incident about 1pm Saturday.
16-year-old Briana L. Dubas 16 of Plattsmouth was the driver of a 2005 Honda Accord that went off the roadway, ran over a street sign, collided with a power pole and went down an embankment, said the report. The vehicle airbags were deployed.
Nebraska Public Power District was needed to repair the downed power lines.
The driver and two 15-year-old passengers were checked for injuries and released without transport. A careless driving citation was issued, said Brueggemann. Alcohol was not a factor.
