Ammonia Scare Rural Area
Plattsmouth fire units, Cass County Emergency Management Agency and the Bellevue Fire hazmat unit attended to an overturned anhydrous ammonia tank near 42nd and Cove Road Monday night.
The Cassgram reports the tank was being pulled by a farm tractor when it went off the road. There was no major leak. No evacuations were needed.
