Council Bluffs police are trying to unravel the circumstances that left an Omaha teenager wrapped in plastic in a city park.
The teen was pulling plastic off his body as police arrived.
Investigators say 18-year-old Brandon Dinovo was knocked unconscious Tuesday night at 28th and Avenue. They say he was then wrapped in plastic and left by his attackers.
A group of teenagers driving by the park spotted Dinovo in the grass and called police.
When officers arrived, Dinovo someone must have come up behind him while he was walking and hit him in the head. He felt a stinging sensation at the nape of his neck.
He said he was knocked out. When he woke up, he realized that he had been wrapped in plastic from his shoulders to his legs.
Council Bluffs Police Sgt. Chad Meyers says Dinovo complained of head pain but wasn't taken to a hospital.
Meyers says there are no suspects. He suspects this is a case of a prank that went too far.
