A North Platte man has agreed to pay nearly $10,000 for being caught with too many walleye, ducks and geese.
Thomas Lingeman pleaded guilty earlier this month to exceeding the possession limits for all those animals.
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission says a conservation officer seized 178 walleye, 37 ducks, 21 Canada geese and 13 snow
geese from Lingeman's house last July.
The court revoked Lingeman's privileges to hunt, fish or trap for one year. And he must pay $9,723 in fines, damages and court costs.
