If you think you've seen every kind of airline fee under the sun, Spirit Airlines has a new one for you.
The Florida based carrier plans to charge up to $45 each way for a carry on bag in the overhead bin.
Personal, under the seat items are still free.
Spirit plans to start charging the new fees August 1st.
So far no major carriers are doing this, but officials say they are watching Spirit's fees to see if they work.
