Some Nebraskans who received help for mental health or addiction problems are being asked to participate in a survey for the state.
Between April and September, the Department of Health and Human Services will be randomly sampling 6,600 of the 40,000 Nebraskans
who received the services in 2009. Written surveys will be sent by
mail; others will be conducted over the phone.
The state is seeking information on experiences with community providers and suggestions for improvements.
Results of the annual study will be available in November.
