An Easter Egg Hunt at the La Vista Sports Complex was a popular attraction Saturday morning.
Hundreds of kids and their parents lined up for a chance to go after some 15-thousand Easter eggs scattered around the ball diamonds.
You try to get as many eggs as you can and if you don't you just don't give up and try to do it over and over," says Colton Crackerly
For many it was their inaugural stab at the Easter ritual. At just 18 months Sonja Fittje's son looks like he got the hang of things.
"This is his first one he can really understand it, it's really exciting cause he's able to walk around this year and really be able to get the eggs in the basket so we had lots of fun,” she says.
Molly Zahurones' toddler already knows what she likes best. “Eat, definitely eat!” she says.
If you missed an egg hunt Saturday, there are some happening Sunday. At 2pm thousand of eggs will be hiding at Bass Pro Shops in Council Bluffs. The Easter bunny will also be making an appearance too.
