Federal indictment returned against postal worker from Greenwood.
Donna M. Wilson, age 50, is charged in a one-count indictment returned by a Grand Jury in U.S. District Court in Omaha. Wilson, an employee of the United States Postal Service, is charged with embezzlement of mail that came into her possession and was intended to be delivered by the United States mail service on or about December 11th, 2009.
The maximum penalty includes imprisonment of 5 years, a fine of $250,000, 3 years of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.
United States Attorney Deborah R. Gilg says indictments are charging documents that are merely accusations, and every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
