A police officer from Pennsylvania will have some explaining to do when he returns from a recent trip to Omaha. A captain with the Swatara Township Police Department is returning home without his badge.
The 42-year-old officer was attending an event at the Qwest Center, and staying at The Embassy Suites.
When he walked into Omaha Police Headquarters the Swatara Township Police Captain told officers he lost his wallet containing his badge and identification somewhere between his hotel and the Qwest Center.
Before making the report the officers checked with both the Qwest and Embassy Suites, but no wallet had been returned. He also checked with the shuttle bus operator but the badge and identification were not found.
The captain believes the wallet fell out of his pocket sometime after he left the Qwest Center, and before he returned to his room.
