Omaha Police are looking for the burglars who broke into one Heartland business so they could steal from another. The crimes were discovered on the morning of Thursday, March 11th.
The businesses, Investors Realty and Tobacco Hut are next to each other in a strip mall at 48th and Center Streets.
According to the police report the thief, or thieves cut the phone and power lines to both businesses, then kicked in the glass door of Investors Realty.
Once inside that business the burglars kicked their way through the drywall separating the two businesses.
Inside the Tobacco Hut the crooks focused on taking cartons of cigarettes.
An unknown number of cartons of cigarettes were taken.
