A Heartland teenager tells Omaha Police he is the victim of an attempted robbery. It happened in an alley near 48th and California on Tuesday, March 9th.
According to the 15-year-old victim as he was walking down the alley two other boys and a young woman passed him going the other way.
A short time later he looked over his shoulder and noticed one of the males walking toward him. The approaching boy told the victim to "hold up" but the victim began walking faster.
The alleged thief caught the victim, stuck something in the small of his back and demanded money.
The victim tells police he thought he heard BB's rattle in the gun and told the thief he had no money.
The would-be thief responded "you're lucky" and ran away.
According to the police report the suspect description the 15-year-old victim gave them matched the description of the suspect in a second robbery.
