Short Shotgun Found On 17-Year-Old
A 17-year-old boy is under arrest after Omaha Police discovered he had a short shotgun hidden in his pants leg.

A 17-year-old boy is under arrest after Omaha Police discovered he had a short shotgun hidden in his pants leg.
According to police reports, officers noticed two young males walking south on North 30th Street near Meredith Avenue around 9:30 Wednesday night.
As they drove by, one of the officers noticed the two pass something between themselves.
Officers stopped the two youths since they were in a "high crime area:" where "recent shootings" have occured.
A pat down search by officers uncovered a Remington 20 gauge short shotgun in one of the boy's pants leg. A 20 gauge yellow shotgun shell was also found on the boy.
The boy was charged with possession of a short shotgun and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
He was taken to the Douglas County Youth Center.
