Most Wanted Suspect Picked Up In Georgia
A 27-year-old Omaha man was picked up in Georgia and returned to Omaha to face charges stemming from a sexual assault last fall.

A 27-year-old Omaha man was picked up in Georgia and returned to Omaha to face charges stemming from a sexual assault last fall.
According to police records, officers responded to a sexual assault call near 37th & Fowler on September 8th. Officers set up a perimeter around the home when they discovered the suspect was still in the area.
The suspect was not found in the area, but the victim told police her ex-boyfriend, Ray L. Hubbard, yelled at her and began slapping her around after she returned home from Septemberfest around 2AM.
The 29-year-old woman said Hubbard forced her and her eight-year-old daughter into the basement with a knife where he then sexually assaulted the woman.
Hubbard was arrested in Georgia and returned to Omaha to face charges of First Degree Sexual Assault, Assault by strangulation and false imprisonment by Mid West Services.
He is being held in the Douglas County Correctional Center.
