Authorities Saturday identified the pilot who died in a plane crash south of Forest City, Iowa on Friday.
The Hancock County Sheriff's Department said 66-year-old Thomas Shelton of Destin, Florida was killed when the plane went down near the Forest City Airport.
The plane was leased to Waldorf College in Forest City and Alabama-based Columbia Southern University. It was flying into Forest City to pick up three employees and take them to Alabama.
