One of the men accused of helping a friend beat his dad to death has pleaded guilty in Douglas County Court.

One of the men accused of helping a friend beat his dad to death has pleaded guilty in Douglas County Court.
Colton Novascone pleaded guilty to criminal conspiracy, a class two felony as well as second degree assault, which is a class three felony.
Novascone orignally was charged with criminal conspiracy to commit murder. It's believed then 16-year-old Novascone was one of two men who came up from Mississippi to help Ryan Carson murder his father, Brian Carson of Elkhorn.
Court documents show Ryan Carson was armed with a shovel and Novascone was armed with a wrench. Novascone hit Brian Carson several times.
He'll be sentenced April 13.
