School Calendar Change for OPS Elementary Students
Due to the number of inclement weather days the district has incurred this winter, elementary students in Omaha Public Schools need to make up approximately two hours to complete the 1,032 instructional hours necessary for this school year.

Due to the number of inclement weather days the district has incurred this winter, elementary students in Omaha Public Schools need to make up approximately two hours to complete the 1,032 instructional hours necessary for this school year.
Friday, February 12th, was originally designated an early release day for elementary students, but will now be a full school day, with regular dismissal at 3:45 PM.
Head Start students, who have also been impacted by inclement weather days, will also be in session all day on Friday, February 12th.
