Investigators and deputies from the Cass County Sheriff's Office, assisted by officers from the Plattsmouth Police Department, Bellevue Police Department, Sarpy County Sheriff's Office and Nebraska State Patrol executed a search warrant at 20016 Captain Morgan Court.
The search warrant stemmed from an ongoing investigation involving numerous jurisdictions.
The owner of the residence, 45-year-old Betty A. Benak, was arrested for charges including possession of methamphetamine, advises Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann. She is currently in custody at the Cass County Corrections Center.
The investigation will remain open while officers follow up on other leads connected to this search warrant, says Brueggemann.
