The National Weather Service continues the heat advisory through Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures once again on Tuesday will rise to the upper 90s however high humidity will make it feel like 105 to 110 degrees.
Vandalism on five separate incidents involving vehicles this past weekend.
Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann says two incidents of vehicle vandalism occurred in the area of Trumball Terrace at Beaver Lake. Both vehicles were parked on the street.
The Cassgram reports one vehicle received damage to a rear taillight and the other vehicle’s passenger side and rear windows were shot out.
On Sunday, three more complaints were received. The reporting party from the 200 block of Maple Street in Louisville advised that sometime overnight his vehicles had been vandalized and broken into. One vehicle had its front passenger window broken out. A purse containing credit cards was stolen from the vehicle. A second vehicle also belonging to the complainant was broken into however nothing had been stolen. Both vehicles were parked on the street.
The fifth complaint occurred in the 7000 block of Fritz Drive in Cedar Creek concerning a vehicle parked in the garage. There was no vandalism or signs of forced entry but items of value were taken from the vehicle.
