A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for eastern Sarpy County in Nebraska and northern Mills in Iowa and until 3:45 p.m. A tornado watch is in effect until 10 p.m. Sunday for southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa, including Omaha, Council Bluffs and Lincoln.

Serious Accident On Busy Highway
A two car collision resulted in the transport of an infant by LifeNet helicopter Saturday.
Reports indicate a Saturn sedan and a Dodge Durango collided on Highway 75 near Fulton Avenue (in front of Tincher Auto Mall) just before noon. There was heavy front end damage to the Saturn.
Cass County sheriff’s deputies, Plattsmouth Fire and Rescue and AMR rescue responded.
A child was unresponsive and LifeNet was summoned. As LifeNet was en route, reports from the scene said rescue workers had begun to notice responsiveness from the child.
