Power has been restored to most residents of southeast Nebraska who were left in the dark during a holiday storm.
About 2,500 customers in the Norris and Seward public power districts were without power at some point during the storm. By Sunday afternoon, the Seward district reported just a few remaining outages.
The Norris district had restored service in Lancaster, Saline, Gage and Jefferson counties, but work continued in Thayer County. The district expected to have power on there by day's end.
