A Nebraska prison guard has been charged with using a computer to try to entice a child into sex.

Lincoln Police said 30-year-old James Pischel of Lincoln was arrested Monday at a park.

According to Officer Katherine Finnell, Pischel made contact on Friday with Lincoln investigator Ed Sexton, who was logged into a Web chat room, posing as a teenage girl.

Finnell said Pischel went to a Lincoln park Monday morning to meet the girl for sex. Investigators were waiting for him.

When arrested, Pischel was a corrections corporal at the Lincoln Correctional Center. Whether he was still employed or had been placed on leave was unclear Wednesday.
