Lawyer Attempted To Smuggle Marijuana Into County Jail
Douglas County Sheriff's Department investigating An Omaha attorney is under investigation. Sources tell Channel 6 News he tried to smuggle a small amount of marijuana to an inmate in the Douglas County Jail on Tuesday.

An Omaha attorney is under investigation. Sources tell Channel 6 News he tried to smuggle a small amount of marijuana to an inmate in the Douglas County Jail on Tuesday.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Department was made aware of the incident on Wednesday. Officials confirm they found 43 grams of marijuana on a man attempting to visit someone. Jailers became suspicious when he exited and re-entered the jail.
The suspect was let go according to jail procedures. No arrest has been made.
