Funeral services will be held Friday morning in Shenandoah, Iowa for 29-year-old Tabitha Crystalyn Rodriguez Lancon, one of the victims of last Saturday’s collision between a semi and a go-cart near Clarinda, Iowa.
Lancon (pictured) and her 16-year-old cousin Shyla Rodriguez, both of Shenandoah, died when they were hit by the truck driven by 63-year-old Paul Mellencamp of Clarinda. He was not hurt.
The Iowa State Patrol says the go-cart, driven by Shyla, pulled out of a private driveway and turned in front of the oncoming semi on Q Avenue south of Clarinda.
