Both the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Nebraska at Omaha have received grants from the Environmental Protection Agency to help support programs designed to prevent pollution.

UNL will receive a total of $142,773 for its Partners in Pollution Prevention Program. As part of that program, UNL experts work with companies to help them determine the best way to measure and reduce pollution.

UNO will receive a total of $202,700 to enhance the capacity of its Pollution Prevention Resource Information Center. UNO's center is one of eight nationwide that help make sure companies are aware of the latest information about pollution prevention.
