Employee Theft After Closing Time
Seen loading store merchandise into pickup An employee of an Omaha pawn shop called police Wednesday night when another worker was seen removing merchandise after the store had closed.

An employee of an Omaha pawn shop called police Wednesday night when another worker was seen removing merchandise after the store had closed.
The employee of Sol's Jewelry & Loan at North 16th Street and Cass noticed another employee loading merchandise into the back of his pickup.
That employee got in the truck and sped off when he realized someone was watching.
Police later took one man into custody from inside the shop and later searched a nearby home. No word yet on whether police recovered the stolen merchandise.
