An Anita, Iowa man was killed in a crash Sunday morning.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Department reports a car was traveling eastbound on Boones Road north of Anita when the driver lost control and the vehicle overturned in a ditch around 3 a.m., ejecting both occupants.
Twenty-two-year-old Brandon Hacker was taken to Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic where he died. Eighteen-year-old Callynn Pollock, also of Anita, was injured. His condition was not available.
Investigators say neither victim was wearing a seat belt and they do not know who was driving.
