An Omaha man who used his business computer to help him produce counterfeit $100 bills has been given 20 months in federal prison.
William Johnson Jr. also was ordered to serve two years of supervised release after he gets out of prison.
Authorities say the 38-year-old owns a janitorial service. They say that in 2006, Johnson began giving the phony $100 bills to employee crews to use for expenses while on the road. The workers would then bring back the change.
The U.S. Attorney's Office in Omaha says nearly $196,000 in the phony $100 bills has turned up around the country.
