We've seen just how seriously people in the community are taking the threat of the swine flu. Several h1n1 vaccination clinics have had lines stretched for blocks and Saturday hundreds more came out to the Calvary Christian Church in Bellevue.

Like we've seen before, they were lined up and waiting well before the clinic opened.

"This is pretty intense, it's going to be a long wait," says Tara Ruppert. Usually when someone sees long lines like this in November they may think holiday sales, not a wait to see the nurse. “I think everyone is concerned about it every time you have people dying from the flu it gets people's attention, says Devon Jacobson.

Outside the Calvary Christian church hundreds patiently waited for their h1n1 shot. Those with underlying conditions like Janet Volkl want to take every precaution. "I have medical conditions that I take amino support therapy and I don't have the immune system to fight the virus in case I get it," she says.

Organizers say many weren't taking any chances missing the event, arriving long before the clinic opened at 8am. "I got here about 6:20 and there were some cars in the parking lot yes,” Dianne Kelly of Sarpy Cass County Health & Wellness.

However Dianne Kelly had good news for those still in line. "We've given out about 400 shots so far and were not running out so I believe the people who rare here now will be able to get in and get a vaccination," she says.

While the line was long, it was moving. “It's beautiful weather, the line is moving faster than usual, I guess I am happy," says Brian Guerraro.

Because given the time of year, those here knew it could have been worse. “It's actually hasn't been too bad. It could be worse in November we could have snow and blizzard conditions so,” says Jana Koth.

If you missed today's clinic, don't worry you still have time to get vaccinate there actually several clinics going on this week.
