Douglas County will hold its first H1N1 clinic Thursday, November 5th from nine a.m. to eight p.m. at First United Methodist Church. Thousands are expected to attend.

To make the process smoother, health officials recommend downloading and completing the consent form before arriving at the clinic. For a link to the form, click here.

The clinic is for only those people in high risk categories. Health officials say they are using the honor system. Patients do not need to provide proof of an underlying condition, but you will be asked if you have one on the consent form.

Police will be available to guide people to overflow lots. Free parking will be available at Temple Israel and Omaha Community Playhouse. Limited parking is also available at the church; just off 69th Street.

Health officials are asking people not to start lining up early. They say they have roughly 5,000 doses of the vaccine and will be open for 11 hours. More clinics will be scheduled in the near future.
