Early Saturday morning, a 79-year-old woman was the victim of a home invasion.
Police officers responded to the home near 43rd and J Street around 5:45 a.m. The victim told officers two suspects forced their way into her home, demanded money, and threatened to shoot her.
When the victim told the suspects she had no money, one of them hit her in the head, causing a minor injury. The two then fled.
The victim is almost legally blind, and was unable to give police a description of the attackers.
