Autopsy results indicate anorexia led to the death of a 19-year-old Wayne State College student from Norfolk.
Deputy Wayne County attorney Amy Miller said Thursday that the doctor who performed the autopsy is awaiting some lab tests, but she said his preliminary findings are that complications of anorexia killed Hilary Pile.
Friends and family members said Pile battled the eating disorder for years. Her body was found Saturday in her room at the dormitory that carried her family name. Her great-great-grandfather founded the school.
Services are set for Thursday in Norfolk.
