Bellevue police continue their search for two men in connection to at least two different vehicle break-ins. One of the victims heard her car alarm go off and called 911.

Thursday night a resident of the apartment complex at 21st and Cornhusker found their car window smashed and $100 worth of items stolen.

A short time later, someone at an apartment complex near 31st and Highway 370 heard their car alarm going off. The victim looked out to see two men going through her car. She was able to give police a description of the suspect's vehicle; a silver SUV.

Officers waited in a nearby apartment complex. The suspects finally showed up. Police pursued the suspects into Omaha, where they lost officers around 34th and Martha.

A little later, the silver SUV was discovered abandoned in the 34th and Martha neighborhood. It turns out to be stolen out of LaVista.

Police say all the valuables taken from the two cars were still in the SUV, as well as more stuff that Bellevue police say hasn’t been reported stolen yet.
