The Cassgram reports that according to Nebraska Lottery news releases, John Montgomery of Omaha won in the September 9th drawing. He purchased a single-play quick pick ticket at Steube’s Thriftway. The ticket contained four of the five winning white ball numbers (4, 16, 18, 51, 53) and the Powerball number (23).
Leonard Quignon of Plattsmouth won his $10,000 in the September 9th Powerball drawing by purchasing a five-play quick pick ticket also at Steube’s Thriftway. The ticket contained one play with the same winning numbers as Montgomery’s.
252 Nebraska Lottery players have won the $10,000 prize in Powerball to date. The odds on just winning $10,000 playing Powerball are 1 in 723,145, according to lottery officials.
