A man was arrested in Lincoln Thursday after telling a boy he was a police officer.
Investigators say 51-year-old Paul Bellew approached the 10-year-old as he was walking to Clinton Elementary School. Bellew didn't harm the child. It appears he claimed to be an officer when the boy spotted Bellew pounding on the door of a nearby home.
Someone else reported a disturbance in that area and Bellew was arrested for impersonating an officer.
