Just a few months out of prison, a man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Friday morning.
Twenty-five-year-old Randy Johnson told police he was a passenger in a car hit by gunfire just north of Highway 75 and Hamilton around 3:30 a.m.
Johnson said the shooter was riding in a blue or gray 1980s Chevy Caprice. He was admitted to Creighton University Medical Center with injuries not considered to be life threatening.
Johnson was released from prision in May after serving four years for robbery, a weapons charge and trying to avoid arrest.
