Two guilty pleas on sexual assault cases the Cassgram reports. Both pleas came through plea agreements in which Class II Felony charges had first been filed. Both men are be sentenced in Cass County District Court in October and will be required to enter their names on the state sex offender registry.

A 38-year-old Union man will be recommended for a 10 year prison sentence for Second Degree Sexual Assault. The prosecution and defense agreed on the recommendation for Paul J. Foyt. Deputy Cass County Attorney Steve Sunde said the assaults on an underage female occurred over a seven-year timeframe (1999 to 2006) at residences in Nehawka, Murray, Beaver Lake and Plattsmouth.

Foyt has been jailed since March.

A 23-year-old Omaha man pleaded guilty to Attempted First Degree Sexual Assault: Statutory.

Both the prosecution and the defense will recommend intensive supervised probation for Bryan E. Carlson.

He has been jailed since the mid-May incident in which a then 15-year-old female admitted she sneaked out of her house to meet Carlson, who was then 22 years old. The incident took place on a Cass County road.
