Update: Man Sought In Child's Death Arrested
Omaha Police Wednesday arrested the man believed to be involved in the death of a 14-week-old child.

Omaha Police Wednesday arrested the man believed to be involved in the death of a 14-week-old child.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of 30-year-old Karl Kjeldgaard for the death of Alayna Harder. Beatrice Police say he was the boyfriend of the girl's mother and last known to be in Omaha or Council Bluffs.
He was taken into custody at a motel near 78th and Dodge at around 7:45 a.m. A tip from Gage County led to the arrest. Kjeldgaard was booked into the Gage County Jail on a charge of felony child abuse.
Alayna died on September 7th. An autopsy has been conducted, however the results have not been released.
