Vote on Louisville School bond.
The Cassgram reports voters said “no” to a $7.65 million bond issue that would have remodeled and renovated the existing K-12 school building and provided funds for construction of additions, land acquisition and site improvements.
Results of the mail-in election: Against-751, For-654. Voter response was 67%.
A group organized against the bond issue said it wanted a “better bond” because this plan had too much emphasis on extra-curricular activities over education and lacked long-term planning for facility and curriculum needs.
