A 7-year-old boy from Doniphan, Nebraska has scored his first hole-in-one.

Bill Patterson, a retired school administrator, said Monday that grandson Jake Kluver was golfing with his mom and Patterson's wife at the Holdrege Country Club on Aug. 30 when he scored the ace.

Patterson says Jake used a youth driver to reach the pin on the 126-yard 16th hole.

Among the other witnesses was Jake's father and 9-year-old brother, who were golfing with Patterson.

Young Jake, who is a second-grader, says he's been golfing since he was 3 and is a member of the Nebraska Junior Golf Tour.

His mother, Michelle, told the Hastings Tribune that what's even more remarkable about Jake's shot is that, because of a fishing accident, Jake is all but blind in his right eye.
