A 59-year-old woman was arrested in Lincoln after trying to rob a pizzeria and holding up a coffee shop Tuesday night.
Police say Katherine Bozell went into daVinci's near South 11th and G streets around 8:20 p.m., told an employee she had a gun and demanded money. When the employee did not immediately comply, Bozell left and proceeded to Cultiva where she repeated her threat and the clerk handed over the cash.
Officers en route to the scene were waved down and told Bozell was seen going into a nearby apartment building at South 12th and H. Police located Bozell and took her into custody. The money was recovered, but no gun was found.
