A 22-year-old Sutherland man is accused of using a golf club or some other weapon to beat his father.

A 22-year-old Sutherland man is accused of using a golf club or some other weapon to beat his father.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office says Angus Goodwin was arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault and of terroristic threats. Deputies say he used the golf club and a shotgun to threaten two other men.
Sheriff Jerome Kramer says the charges stem from an argument between Goodwin and his girlfriend at Goodwin's house early Sunday morning.
The woman had called the men for help, then left the house.
Goodwin's father, 44-year-old Rick Goodwin, refused to give his son the keys to a pickup so Angus could chase after the woman.
Kramer says the two men left after being threatened by Angus Goodwin, then the dispute between the Goodwins turned physical.
No word on Rick Goodwin's condition.
