A robber hit the US Bank inside Bakers at 120th & Center, but a second robbery call at 132nd & Maple turns out to be a false alarm.
The first call came in at 9:21 Monday morning. Police say the US Bank inside Bakers at 120th and Center was robbed by a man who approached the teller, demanded money, and then fled with an undetermined amount of money.
Witnesses say they saw the suspect fleeing on foot southbound from the shopping center.
The suspect is described as a male 35-45 years old. He was wearing khaki pants, a khaki shirt, and a fishing hat. Police did not apprehend him at the scene.
Less than thirty minutes later, the Police also heard the US Bank inside Bakers at 132nd & Center had been robbed. It turned out to be a false alarm.
