Air Show Traffic
The Nebraska State Patrol will help provide traffic control for the upcoming “Defenders of Freedom Open House and Air Show” Saturday (8/29) and Sunday (8/30) at Offutt Air Force Base.
NSP will be working traffic control at Capehart Road, the main spectator entrance to the base. The gates open at 9am each day with the events expected to wrap up by 4pm. Motorists attending the air show should follow the directions provided on the electronic message boards.
Spectators not attending the air show are reminded stopping or parking on the shoulder of the highway is not permitted.
