The Cassgram reports support continues for the victims and families impacted by the June 20 car crash in South Bend that took the lives of Mikie and Kyle Matchus.
Numerous benefit events under the direction of the Louisville 6/20 Fund Committee are this Saturday (8/29):
---Softball Tournament: A 16-team bracket tournament is set to begin at 10am on Saturday morning at the Ash Grove Ball Field and the Louisville Legion (school) Field. There are still open slots in the bracket, so if teams wish to sign up they should contact Jeff Gaebel at 402-830-3753 as soon as possible. Entry fee for teams is $200.
A Silent Auction at the Louisville Senior Center from 11am-6pm. Some items available for silent bid include a new golf bag, an autographed hat from Larry the Cable Guy, a Michelob beer sign, a Jerkey Master, a portable basketball system, an Ab Lounger, a glass flower yard ornament hand-made by Howard Stubbendick, a framed wildlife print by Christine Flynn, a die cast collectible tractor, a $200 gift basket from Envy Salon, a $200 gift certificate for Cabelas, at least 10 other gift certificates and Nebraska football tickets.
