Nebraska's crops continue to be helped by recent rains and mild temperatures.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture says crop conditions improved across the state thanks to the rain even though less than half an inch fell in most locations last week.
The USDA says 78 percent of the state's corn crop rated in good or excellent condition at the end of the last week.
That's slightly better than the 75 percent good or excellent rating the crop earned at the same time last year.
Nebraska's soybean crop is also in good shape with 78 percent in good or excellent condition.
Last year, 72 percent of the soybeans rated good or excellent at the same time.
