To alleviate congestion caused by UNO classes conflicting with the Maverick season-opening football game on Thursday and volleyball tournament on Friday, shuttle buses will be available for free to take fans to and from their cars during the events.
For Thursday's football opener, UNO will operate a free shuttle service between Caniglia Field and the Pacific (South) Campus beginning at 5:30 p.m. The shuttles will run from lots 5, 6 and 7 prior to the game and following the game until all fans have been reunited with their vehicles.
For Friday's volleyball tournament, fans can park at the Pacific location and take the shuttle all day long for free or they can park at the Crossroads Mall parking garage and take the shuttle, also free. The final shuttle to Crossroads will leave the UNO campus at 6 p.m.
Parking on campus for Saturday's volleyball tournament is free where available.
The Maverick football team takes the field at 7 p.m. Thursday against East Central while the volleyball team will be in action at the UNO Volleyball Showcase with two matches Friday and two Saturday.
